Sweet or steamy, there’s a Murdoch romance for you

With each one of my novels packed with heroines with fire and heroes who spark them, read sweet stories from me as Emily Murdoch and steamy stories from me as Emily E K Murdoch.

About me

Why historical romance?

When you love history, there’s nothing like historical romance.

The drama. The adventure. The world that looks so like ours, and yet so different.

I’ve studied history. I even have a Masters in Medieval Studies – and yet there’s nothing like losing yourself in historical romance written by someone with passion.

If that’s what you love, then it’s time to dive into my books.

Which time period is your favourite?

Medieval

1069. A war torn country. Two peoples learning to live together. Choices that could end the fragile peace that has been won. A woman forced to make a decision between marrying two men…

Western

When five siblings inherit an orchard but are separated by fate, it will take love, loss, and a little chance to bring them back together – if they can stand the sight of each other…

Regency

Balls, Almack’s, the ton, card parties and hunting parties – if you love Bridgerton, or want Jane Austen with a little more heat, then these are the Regency novels for you…

Why readers love my books

Beautifully written love story. A happily ever after that keeps you interested and entertained. The characters are charming and realistically flawed. The story line is just detailed enough to keep you with it but not so that it drags or bogs down. Totally recommend this book

Thoroughly entertaining. I’ll definitely be watching for Ms Murdoch’s next book!

I truly enjoyed this book. It is a page turner that you just want to keep reading to see what happens.
